High brass skull (minor dents), leopard skin turban, the number „726" stamped on the back. Brass comb with lavish relief decoration and embossed oak leaf ornaments on the side, black bearskin crest, a crowned, oval brass shield with the three Bourbon fleurs-de-lys on the front. Multi-part brass chinscales (the leather lining and lacing replaced) on ray-shaped rosettes with appliquéd Bourbon fleurs-de-lys (the mounting renewed). Smooth black silk lining and red leather sweatband (both replaced). Signs of age and wear. Extremely rare, early cavalry helmet.Attention: This lot can only be shipped within the European Union.
