Description

Marble funerary altar with beautiful patina. On the front, a five-line funerary inscription for the infant Victor, who died at the age of eight months "DMS / VICTOR / ME(n)SIVM / VII[I] H S E / S T T S". The back is finely decorated in the center with an ascia, a symbol often found on funerary monuments. An impressive social and epigraphic testimony from the 2nd century AD.
