Description

Aufwendig aus Nussbaumholz geschnitztes königliches Wappen Großbritanniens und Nordirlands. Die zentrale Wappenkartusche wird vom Hosenbandorden umkränzt – noch größtenteils lesbar "Honi soit qui mal y pense" bezeichnet – sowie vom englischen Löwen und schottischen Einhorn flankiert. Aufgesetzt die königliche Krone, am unteren Rand das historische Motto "Dieu et mon droit" auf elegant geschweiftem Schriftband. Starke Fraßspuren, stellenweise restauriert. Die Ohren des Einhorns bestoßen. Verso geöst. Maße 48 x 75 cm.
