Description

Hollow-cast bronze with a dark patinated surface, mounted on a turned marble stand. The head of a bearded man with headband and schematised eyes of traditional Homer type. The bust open at the back with visible casting skin. Mounted by means of central metal bolts. The surface with scratches, abrasion and irregular patina, occasional casting pores. Stand with losses. Dimensions of the bust approx. 39 × 26.5 × 30 cm, including stand approx. 55 x 26.5 x 30 cm. Please note: self-collection or a shipping quote should be obtained prior to bidding.
