Round barrel with offset midrib, smooth bore in 15 mm calibre. Chiselled floral decoration at the breech, "FIN" engraved on the barrel rib. The lock lightly pitted in places, with a wavy, engraved border and chiselled feathers, signed "Luc à Faucogney" (the Vosges, eastern France) on the underside. The full stock made of walnut with a flamed grain. Faceted iron furniture with a delicate, openwork lock side plate, the thumb plate with a chiselled coat of arms. Iron-capped wooden ramrod.
