Description

Octagonal barrel slightly indented in the middle with seven-groove rifled bore in 16 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights, the folding rear sight with cut base. Wheellock with external wheel, the lock plate with engraved hunting scene, struck Nuremberg acceptance mark and master’s mark "SD" with fleur-de-lys. Spring-loaded pan cover with release button. Set trigger. Walnut full stock with rich, high-quality inlays of engraved bone and mother-of-pearl, depicting noblemen, Turks, musicians as well as scenes of gallantry, hunting and war in fine workmanship, interspersed with delicate bone chip and dot inlays. The butt cap replaced. Patch box with spring-loaded sliding lid. Original ramrod with engraved bone tip and threaded iron sleeve. Length 98.5 cm.
