Description

Slender thrusting blade with slightly fullered rhombic cross section and short ricasso. The upper third on both sides gold inlaid mark "IASPAR BONGEN MEFECIT SOLINGEN" between remnants of delicate floral etching. The surface mottled in places, with some minor pitting. Hilt with knuckle and hand guards with deep chiselling and embossed maskarons between leafs. Original grip with intricately twisted copper wire and Turk's heads. Length 94,5 cm. Re.
