The sturdy, double-edged blade with a medial rib on both sides. Both sides of the upper third with finely etched embellishment, over-polished in places. A bishop's head with signature „Peter Munch 1643” etched on both sides, below which the motto (tr.) „God's blessing gained, all is obtained.” A bishop's head mark struck on the reverse of the root. Iron, Swedish-style hilt with sturdy, S-shaped curved quillons, lightly ridged on the obverse. Sturdy guard ring on the obverse with an iron guard plate in fine openwork. Inset thumb ring on the reverse. The original grip fluted on the side, fine brass and iron wire winding with Turk's heads. Flat oval pommel with offset riveted button. Length 108.5 cm.
