Description

The double-edged blade of flattened diamond section with remnants of the original bluing. The sturdy ricasso with a mark struck on the obverse (S in a pentagon). The hexagonal arms of the quillons sweeping forward toward the blade, sturdy, hexagonal thumb ring with inset, openwork guard plate on the obverse. Hexagonal grip with iron and brass wire winding and iron Turk's heads. Slightly conical, deeply fullered pommel with a distinct, riveted finial. Length 43.5 cm.
