Description

Rückenklinge mit zweischneidiger Spitze. Linksseitig mit "G. Wostenholm & Son Washington Works Sheffield" bezeichnet. An der linken Klingenwurzel groß "IXL" geschlagen. Klinge leicht fleckig. Neusilberne Parierstangen und Knaufkappe, Griff aus Hirschhorn. Belederte Holzscheide mit Neusilberbeschlägen und Gürtelöse. Belederung mit beidseitig in Gold eingelegten, beidseitigen Bändern und rückseitig "IXL" geprägt. Länge in Scheide 34 cm. "IXL" ist die Abkürzung für "I excell" und die Signatur der Messerschmiedfirma George Wolstenholm in Sheffield (GB).
