Description

The skull forged in two pieces, with a tall, finely roped comb. A perforation to attach the plume at the nape, the plume socket has been lost. A small delamination on the right-hand side. The two-part, pivoted visor with separate eye slits and finely roped edges. The breathing holes arranged in rosettes on both sides. The bevor with a hook closure on the side. The face opening with a finely turned and roped edge. Original gorget and neck guard, both with a curved linear ornament hammered from the inside, a border of lining rivets and finely turned and roped edges. Height 37 cm. Remarkable close helmet in quality befitting an officer, in good, completely original condition.
