Description
The skull forged in one piece with a narrow comb. The peak made in one piece, tapering to a point with a turned edge and a continuous row of fine lining holes. The attached large cheek pieces opening on a hinge, each with five pierced openings for hearing. Original leather chinstrap still attached, with iron buckle. The riveted neck guard with a turned edge. The inside with completely preserved lining of chamois-dressed leather. The surfaces lightly filmed with rust in places. Height 30 cm. Beautiful helmet in arsenal-maintained condition, the lining preserved in its entirety. Extremely rare find.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
