The broad, curved, single-edged blade with a sturdy yelman, a chiselled medial ridge on the spine. Light pitting on the surfaces, the Damascus pattern barely visible. A gold-inlaid calligraphic cartouche and leafy vine decoration on the obverse root. S-shaped, curved brass quillons. Light-coloured horn grip plates, the fullered grip frame made of silver. Lanyard loop with tassel still attached. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with decorative stitching in silver wire. Brass chape and locket engraved with floral ornaments. Carrying strap with two movable rings, one loop repaired at the root. Length 81 cm.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
