Cal. .44(BlackPowder), SN. 152820, matching numbers. Barrel length 8", mostly bright bore, some frosting. On top of the barrel one-line Colt address, the cylinder marked with "Colts Patent" and serial number. To the left of the frame marked "Colts Patent", on the rear of the trigger guard with calibre. On the cylinder naval battle. The entire gun covered in tendril engraving, incl. loading lever, hammer, trigger guard and grip straps. Undamaged, checkered ivory grips. The frame cut-for-stock, but the back strap not notched. Cylinder without patent date. New address on the barrel. This is most likely one of the very first guns from the "post-fire" production. ATTENTION: absolutely NO EXPORT of the ivory grips beyond EU borders!
