Handwritten letters and postcards addressed to A. Lange of Wuppertal, bearer of the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Handwritten card (tr.) "Enclosed is a commemorative photo of my late brother. Friedrich Christian. 19.9.43. Dresden". An image of the Prince in old age, approx. 1968. Four postcards sent to Lange by Prince Christian. Handwritten thank-you card from his brother Prince Georg of Saxony (21 October 1937) and four other cards from Prince Georg, sent in or after 1936. Commemorative photograph of Prof. Dr. Prinz Max, Duke of Saxony (1951). Handwritten card from Elisabeth Helene, daughter of Albert von Thurn und Taxis and wife of Friedrich Christian (1969). Eight typewritten thank-you notes from the 1950s and 60s, each bearing Prince Friedrich Christian's original signature in ink. A completely handwritten postcard from the Prince, dated 17 September 1964. Numerous autographs etc. In clear plastic folders in a new ring binder (measuring 28 x 23 x 4 cm). Signs of age and handling. Prince Friedrich Christian was the second son of Frederick Augustus III, the last King of Saxony, and his wife Louisa of Tuscany. He became head of the House of Wettin on his father's death in 1932.
