Description

Cap body in dark blue/black wool in final pattern of saddle-form, black mohair cap band, dark blue/black piping, black leather chinstrap with leather adjustment slides attached by two gilt finish buttons with anchor motif. Gilt finish metal eagle and wreath, cockade with red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with black, checkered underside. Blue artificial silk lining, elongated, intact moisture shield above golden-yellow artificial lining with manufacturer mark “Heinrich Hassel Hamburg”. Dark brown leather sweatband with owner’s initial discs “AB” attached. Size ca. 56.
