Description

Cap body in white cotton, black mohair cap band, gilt piping, gilt chin cords with black accents attached by two gilt finish pebbled buttons. Gilt finish metal eagle and wreath, cockade with swastika at centre. Black lacquered visor with black, smooth underside. Orange-brown oilcloth lining, moisture shield intact with paper name tag, manufacturer mark and Soldatenbund eagle underneath. Brown leather sweatband torn at rear. Moisture shield damaged at top left side. Exhibits age. Size ca. 55.
