Cap body in dark blue/black wool, black velvet cap band, red piping, black leather chinstrap with metal buckles attached by two smooth black finish buttons. Gilt finish metal eagle and circular wreath, metal cockade with tan painted centre. Black lacquered visor with black, smooth finish underside. Orange-brown cloth lining, no moisture shield, manufacturer mark “Henr. Rabe Katernberg”, brown leather sweatband. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 55.
