Description

Cap body in dark blue wool, black mohair cap band, dark blue piping, celleon chin cords with alternating dark blue cords attached by two gilt finish pebbled buttons. Gilt finish metal eagle and wreath, railway wings superimposed above metal cockade with red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with brown, checkered finish underside. Grey artificial silk lining, no moisture shield, size stamped “54”, grey leather perforated sweatband. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age.
