Description

Cap body in Police-green tricot wool, brown cap band, gilt piping, gilt chin cords attached by two gilt finished pebbled buttons. Gilt finish two-piece metal eagle, metal cockade with red cloth center. Black lacquered visor with light brown, checkered finish underside. Gold color imitation silk lining with light soiling. Moisture shield missing, light brown perforated leather sweatband, manufacturer-mark “Fraenkel Wien” in gilt foil, “Ora neu” impressed in gilt foil at forehead, perforations and impression from removal of owner initial discs at rear. A couple of minor moth nips. Size ca. 55cm.
