Description

Removable, round cap top of black wool, tassel at top center with cylindrical weave, silver-grey machine-woven eagle and wreath with cockade both machine-applied. Oval-shaped, heavily padded cap of black wool with six rubber vents, black oil cloth lining, brown leather sweatband size stamped “56”, manufacturer stamp “Wilhelm Wethekam Dresden” underneath. One rubber grommet missing from interior lining. Small holes near tassel.
