Cap body of field-grey wool, boat-shaped, tapered to rear with scalloped lower front panel, two green finish grommets, silver-aluminum piping, machine-woven silver-aluminum eagle on green backing, embroidered silver-aluminum, black and red cockade on green backing, both hand-applied. Green soutache machine-applied. Silver-finish metal Edelweiss pinned to left panel. Black cotton lining, size stamped “56”, partial brown leather sweatband.
