Shell body in tan canvas, removable top vent, centre band with cloth slide at rear, olive leather trim on brim, olive leather chinstrap with buckle, bordered black shield with eagle at left side, bordered tri-color shield at right side. Inside of brim lined in tan canvas, red cloth liner attached by cotter pins, tan leather sweatband, reverse stamped with size “55”.
