Description

Shell body in olive cloth, removable top vent of tan canvas, centre band with cloth slide at rear, olive leather trim on brim, olive leather chinstrap with buckle, bordered black shield with silver finished eagle at left side, bordered tri-color shield at right side. Inside of brim lined in green cloth, red felt liner attached by cotter pins, tan leather sweatband stamped with manufacturer and date “JTA 1945”, reverse stamped with size “56”.
