Cal. .38ACP, SN. 37704, barrel length 150 mm, almost bright bore. Eight shots. Made in 1915. The late standard inscription for this serial number on the left side of the slide, stamped "Automatic Colt / Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless" in two lines on the front right, no model specifications. On the left side of the frame Colt acceptance marks ("VP", "1"). Original, slightly patinated, barely stained jet black high-gloss finish ("charcoal blue"), perfectly preserved on the barrel, slightly thinner on the grip. Correct bronze firing pin. Black hard rubber grip panels marked "Colt" and rampant colt, in perfect condition. Lanyard ring.
