Cal. 7,63mmMauser, SN. 2052, matching numbers. Bore a bit dull. German proof marks double crown above "U" and Oberndorf antlers. Austrian proof marks, indicating this to be firearm No.437 to be proofed in 1898. Rear sights scaled 1 - 10. On top of chamber area marked "Waffenfabrik / Mauser / Oberndorf A/N". Original bluing >98%, mit minor signs of wear. Small parts nitre-blued. The extractor might be a later replacement. Light-brown walnut grips, unnumbered. Lanyard ring.
