Tempera on a metal plaque. Representation of the Kazanskaya Mother of God. Gilt silver frame with extremely fine décor of stylised flowers and leafy vines in coloured enamel. A central medallion with a red cherub. Stippled background. A wooden plaque covered in velvet on the back. The underside stamped with the district assayer's mark with 84 standard and master's mark "Khlebnikov" in Cyrillic with his court purveyor's seal. Minor imperfections in the gilding. Dimensions 12 x 9.5 cm (without the loop), total weight 247 g. From a private German collection.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
