Description

Porcelain. Cylindrical panels, all painted with coloured flowers, birds and insects. A rocaille cartouche with a rear view of Palazzo Pitti and its park in relief on the front. Surrounded by fully sculptured floral ornaments. Hinged lid with a sculptural finial in the shape of a yellow bird, perched on a branch with brightly coloured flowers. The inside of the lid also with a polychrome front view of the Renaissance palace. The base with crossed swords mark (superior quality). Some of the flowers knocked or restored. Height 15.5 cm.
