Description

Farbloses Glas mit Farbeinschmelzungen. Mehrfarbige plastische Aufschmelzungen. Oberhalb des Standes in Gravur signiert: "Alessandro Barbaro Murano". Standbereich mit Abnutzungsspuren. Maße 51 x 36 x 18 cm. Barbaro ist ein erfolgreicher zeitgenössischer Studioglaskünstler, der in Murano arbeitet. Er entwarf u.a. einige Kopfskulpturen in Anlehnung an Picasso und zahlreiche Tierfiguren. Internationalen Erfolg erlangte er mit seiner Colosseums-Skulpturengruppe. Er stellte im Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas und im Hotel Europa & Regina in Venedig aus.
