Salt-glazed stoneware with slightly mottled surface, polychrome enamel decor. Pewter ring stand. The central coat of arms medallion surrounded by Christ and eleven apostles in relief. Above which, the tituli inscribed on a white banderole. A colourful tendril frieze on the lower and upper panel sections. Slightly domed, hinged pewter lid with acorn thumb rest. The year "1580" stamped on the lid, along with an illegible inscription of later date. St. Peter's face is missing, other small defects and repairs. Dimensions 20 x 20 x 17.5 cm.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
