Reblued barrels with offset mid ribs and smooth bores in 12.5 mm calibre. On top of the barrels, finely inlaid in silver, the signature ". I. Christoph Kuchenreuter" between scrollwork. At the base of either barrel a silver-lined mark with Rider and "ICK". Double folding rear sights, the tangs engraved with "1" and "2", respectively. Triggers with set trigger. Slightly domed lock plates with repeated signature. Slightly carved walnut full stocks with smooth brass fittings. The reverse of either butt stock fitted with a holder for the detachable stock, each with preserved brass cover plate. Including associated walnut stock with iron locking pin and brass butt plate. Length of either pistol 39.5 cm, with stock 63 cm. In a later case with comprehensive accessories, including powder flask, powder gauge, screwdriver, broach, hammer and loading hammer, two ramrods, cleaning rod with screw-on heads, bullet mould and patch box. The lid of the cover lightly scratched, the edge of the lid with a small age crack. Lockable, key missing. Dimensions 10 x 48 x 38 cm.
