Description

Octagonal to 16-sided barrel, smooth bore in 13.5 mm calibre. Barrel maker's signature "LAZARI COMINAZ" stamped on the top. Tang engraved with scrolling foliage. Finely crafted wheel lock, wheel mount and hammer decorated with chiselled acanthus leaves. Screw-mounted iron belt buckle on the opposite side. Full stock made of beautifully grained walnut wood embossed with decorative bands. Finely engraved and partially openwork iron mounts. Original ramrod with cut tip, on the opposite side a bullet extractor. Surfaces slightly reworked, minor traces of fine pitting in places. Length 54.5 cm.
