Description

Long thrusting blade of diamond section with (rubbed) Toledo mark on each side of the ricasso. The fullers on both sides signed "AYALA" on the obverse. Swept knuckle-bow hilt with broad quillons and guard plate cut in the shape of a shell on the reverse. Grip with two iron ferrules and handle of twisted copper wire. Iron ball pommel incised with continuous spiral decoration. Length 115 cm.
