Description

Robust double-edged blade of flattened diamond section. The pseudo inscription "PAPAPAPA" struck within the deep fuller on both sides at the forte, the wide bars decorated on the obverse with chiselled acanthus leaves. The bars on the reverse slightly ridged. Octagonal grip with fine iron wire wrap and Turk's heads. Bi-conical pommel with boldly chiselled acanthus ornaments. Length 128.5 cm.
