A fine German knightly sword with a Passau blade, 2nd half of the 14th century

Description
The sturdy, double-edged blade with shallow fullers on both sides. Lavish decorative brass inlays on both sides. Passau wolf mark on one side, along with a straight arm cross and three barely legible letters. On the other side, a circular inlay with a stylised crossbow (?), three straight-armed crosses and another ornamental inlay. Sturdy, straight quillons. Tapered tang with remnants of the original grip. Large, slightly conical disc pommel with a small cross symbol engraved on both sides. Length 117 cm.Condition: III Questions about the lot?
