Shinogi zukuri blade, iori-mune, ko-kissaki. Hamon hoso suguha with nijuba and some nie. Mokume itame hada with long masame. Boshi suguha ko maru. Gilt habaki. Nakago machiokuri, haagari kurijuri with one mekugi-ana. Signed "Sekishu Junin Nagahiro Saku" (3rd generation). Iron tsuba with fine gold-damascened floral embellishment, abraded at the edges, incomplete. Tsuka with beige silk wrapping over same, gilt menuki, a dragon and two tigers. Iron fuchi-kashira and scabbard mounts with fine floral décor inlaid in two-coloured gold, animated with depictions of a phoenix, otters and butterflies. Black-lacquered saya decorated with bronze bosses in the form of floral mon. Blade length K/M 59.5 cm, overall length 90 cm.
