Description

Cal. 7,63 mm Mannl., SN. 23, Matching numbers. Bright bore. Barrel length 142 mm. Fixed front sight. 8-shot magazine. No thumb safety. Self-loading pistol with fixed barrel, blowback and external hammer. Signed on the left of the receiver "Waffenfabrik / Steyr", on the right "System / Mannlicher". The backstrap smoothly soldered at bottom. Recess at the backstrap for magazine floor plate. Original finish, circa 1 mm of fine pitting on the barrel rib. Hammer and trigger unblued, small parts strawed. Dark walnut grip panels with fine chequering. Milled lanyard ring. This gun is shown and described in detail in Mötz/Schuy, Vom Ursprung der Selbstladepistiole vol. 1, p. 318 - 321.
