Cal. 7,63 mm Mauser, SN. 29517, Matching numbers, including grip panels. Slightly matt bore, barrel length 100 mm. 6-shot magazine. Proof marks double crown/"U", Oberndorf antlers and British proofs. Made circa 1901. Fixed rear sight. Groove for shoulder stock. Barrel root with three-line standard markings, on the left side of frame the US dealer’s address "von Lengerke / & Detmold / New-York", on the right two-line Mauser company name. Finish almost 100%, but probably reblued. Hammer and lock mechanism case hardened. Small parts blued. Black hard rubber grip panels with floral design.
