Cal. 7,63 mm Mauser, SN. 9758, Matching numbers including grip panels. Matt bore, barrel length 120 mm, muzzle ring. Ten-shot magazine. Proof marks double crown/U and Oberndorf antlers. Made circa 1897. Original bluing, partially with fine spots, pitted under the grip panels. Hammer and lock mechanism frame case hardened. Small parts blued, spotty. Trigger unblued. Dark walnut grip panels. Original lanyard ring. Dark walnut stock with matching numbers, body without cracks, mounts spotty.
