Cal. 8x68S, SN. 40.3511, Bright bore. Length 65 cm. Valid Ferlach proof marks. Octagonal to round barrel. Wide machined barrel rib with standing rear sight, marked “Waffen Weber-Trier”. Marked “LB” (Ludwig Borovnik) within an oval on the side. Engraved 98 system framed by golden threads and polished bolt catch and follower. Nitrated magazine base with engraved striding stag in low relief. Trigger guard with gold inlaid monogram. German set trigger with gilt triggers. Additional safety slide at the stock wrist. Dark walnut stock with pistol grip, Scottish chequering and Bavarian cheekpiece. Length 36.5 cm. Dark exotic wood at the forestock. Mounted via Suhl claw mount a Zeiss Diatal 6 x 42 scope, reticle 4.
