Description

A left and a right percussion lock for a double-barrel rifle. The lockplates and hammers with floral engraving. The touch holes covered in platinum, the hammers with interchangeable piston-strikers. Mechanics complete. Length 11.8 cm each.
Two early specimens of percussion locks which were to be mounted onto flintlock barrels.

General Information

The auction includes 726 lots and starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5727. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
