Description

The two-part body intricately carved from ivory, embellished with a naturalistic scene of a stag hunt. The base and spout in fine turning craftsmanship, the locking lever retaining remnants of gilt silver, on a fine ring in relief with suspension loop. A small crack in the base. Height 24.5 cm.

The auction includes 726 lots and starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5727. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
