Description

The album starts in June of 1942 in Aggrigento and Catania. With Baron von Maltzahn in Cosimo in January of 1942, with high-ranking Italian officers in Palermo, in October of 1942 in Cosimo, in January of 1943 in Gela, meeting the German Ambassador von Mackensen in Frascati, in Corsica in March of 1943. Glued in are telegrams of Hitler and Göring, congratulating him to his 100th mission resp. To the award of the front flight badge and get-well wishes. Approx. 110 photos, mostly glued in, various sizes, including some PK photos. The brown leather binding with signs of wear. Contrasting the other photo albums, hardly any photos were removed from this one.

General Information

The auction includes 608 lots and starts on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 2001 - 2608. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 Oct., 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask! Prior to any visit please check our website - we'll update it as soon as the situation changes.
