Pre-printed card (11.2 x 17.3 cm) (tr.) "The Reich Chancellor – Berlin February 1933 – I would like to express my deepest thanks for your congratulations on my appointment as Reich Chancellor." with handwritten ink signature "Adolf Hitler". In an envelope addressed in typescript to Betty Moritz, who at that time was already married and lived in Mühldorf, postmark dated 7 March 1933, (tr.) "Postmark Reich Chancellery" with addition (tr.) "Postage pre-paid" and paper seal (tr.) "Reich Chancellery" on the reverse (damaged by opening the envelope).Condition: II + Betty Moritz (1910 – 2003) was the daughter of the prison guard Valentin Moritz. Frequently visiting her father at Landsberg prison she made friends with inmate Hitler and the other November-putschists. Until well into the 1930ies Hitler kept sending her postcards and books, all of which had been kept in family hands until recently. Questions about the lot?
