Description

Slender, double-edged blade of diamond section, both sides with a deeply struck mark in the centre of the blade. The slightly fullered ricasso struck on the obverse with a king's head mark, probably Solingen. Iron swept hilt with recurved quillons and slightly asymmetrical shell guards on both sides. Grip with copper wire wrap and fine Turk's heads. Sturdy conical pommel with tang button. Length 112 cm.
