Description

Slender, double-edged stabbing blade of flattened hexagonal section. Narrow fuller at the forte, ricasso engraved with ornamental lines on both sides and a sawtooth mark struck on one side. Hilt of flattened iron bars with vertically recurved quillons. Spirally fluted grip, the original iron wire wrap damaged. Flattened oval pommel with lateral ridge. Length 122 cm.

The pre-sale view will take place from April 22 - to April 26 as well as on Friday May 2nd and Monday May 5th in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CEST).
