Robust, double-edged blade of diamond section. The slightly conical ricasso marked on the obverse with "S" surmounted by a crown, inscribed "CAINA" on the reverse. Vertically recurved iron quillons with obverse side-ring, hilt arms and thumb ring. The quillons terminating in stylised serpent heads. Four-lobed grip with iron wire wrap and iron bolsters. Laterally ridged pommel, spirally fluted on the obverse, with tang button. Length 119 cm.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
