Description

Iron, hollow-forged head with decorative frieze. A short spike riveted on the top. Sturdy, circular socket, a stepped reinforcement ring at the edge. The sturdy haft made of ebonised hardwood with a raised nub structure. Length 75 cm. Early commander's baton, which developed from the form of the Eastern European mace.

The pre-sale view will take place from April 22 - to April 26 as well as on Friday May 2nd and Monday May 5th in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CEST).
