A map of Germany from 1937 with mountain ranges in brown shades, the routes of the Deutschlandflug (flight over Germany) traced in gold lines, the cities and stops written in red. Marked in grey the various valuation places and airports with and without filling stations, corresponding key on the right edge. On the lower left blue sceptre and red orb mark of the KPM, on the lower red edge gold NSFK emblem over partially grey and gilt inscription "Ehrenpreis Deutschlandflug 1937 - Der Korpsführer des nationalsozialistischen Fliegerkorps" with signature "F. Christiansen - Generalleutnant" and "Gegeben von der Wirtschaftsgruppe Luftfahrtindustrie". The unglazed back with pressed sceptre and red orb mark of the KPM and inventory stamp "Eigentum: Ministerpräsident Hermann Göring - Inventar Nr." with handwritten addition in red "236/37". In plain old wood frame. Dimensions 56.5 x 68.5 cm.The first Deutschlandflug took place after the exposure of the Wehrmacht from 21-27 June 1937. It was the biggest aviation event at the time which was attended not only by 62 three-aircraft formations, but also by private pilots with their planes. The NSFK was established shortly before the Deutschlandflug on 17 April 1937 by a Führer edict and succeeded the DLV under the presidency of Hermann Göring as paramilitary pilots' organisation. The NSFK was also controlled by Hermann Göring in his function as Minister of Aviation, but first corps leader with simultaneous appointment to Lieutenant General was Friedrich Christiansen (1879 - 1972), navy pilot during the First World War with 21 confirmed victories and first reserve officer of the navy to receive the Pour le mérite.Condition: I - II Questions about the lot?
