Black lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay, rear visor with red underlay; silver: cross spike base, rear spine, fluted spike and front visor trim, officer front plate of Bavarian Lions and shield attached by three splintas; silver flat chin scales with rosette side posts; Imperial Officer and Bavarian cockades; dark brown leather sweatband, cream silk lining.
